I can not assign a vm which is imported by vcenter to another host group

    I'm a new user of zabbix,and I have a problem now:
What I actully want to do is to specified some vms to a specified user group, but when I try to add a vm to a host group,I found that can not be done.
I created my vcenter host and linked VMWARE template to it ,after vms is discovered and imported to my zabbix appliance,I found that I can not change any vm to another hostgroup ,the hostgroup field is read only(with grey fonts) ,with some hostgroup(Template/Application,Discover VMWARE vms,eg) in it.

Can anyone help me on this problem?

    Hi!

Whats happening is that zabbix is reading your vcenter and creating the vms from there.
if you want to create these hosts in zabbix automatically and have the possibility after that of changing settings on certain hosts, you could install the agent on those vms, and create a discover action, which will automatically add the hosts, put in a host group and add a template. And then, you can change settings individually if you wish.
