I have a zabbix server running on a virtual machine managing network equipment mounted offsite.
I have zabbix server configured so that when it fails 3 pings every 3 minutes to send email. In the last few days I have received a lot of emails saying that there was a failure, but when I access either the server or the equipment I notice that there was no failure.
Questions:
Is there any debugging that would perform to the server to understand if the problem is on the zabbix side?
Could there be a wrong configuration?
The goal in this server is that it is pinging the equipments and that when that IP fails it is warned by email. What I tried to do is that every 3 min it send 3 pings to the equipments and after that if it fails it send me email
