Hi all,
I'm new to Zabbix and discovered a wonderful tool for monitoring.
For now I'm only monitoring network devices (Mikrotik routers, switches), UPSs and VmWare Hypervisors and I have to say it's pretty.
I'm also monitoring the internet connection through a simplecheck on 8.8.8.8 but noticed a lack of consistency in response time.

I have an Internet connection with optic fiber link and radio backup and as my ping time is varying between 40ms and 160ms during the day, I first suspected the link to switch to radio and then come back to optic but it's not the case.
Then I logged to my router and zabbix server to compare and it seems that even when the "zabbix simplecheck" is showing 160ms, a fping from console it showing 40ms and my router also confirm 40ms.

Do you have any idea on what can cause this type of variation in zabbix?
My config:
Zabbix 5.4 installed on a Debian 11 VM (2 cores, 2Gb)
fping is v5.0
Thank you all for your help
