    v2c issues with zbx appliance 6.0.0 beta 1 and esxi 7.0.3

    Good afternoon,
    I have two esxi 7.0 hypervisors. I have enabled snmp and corresponding firewall rules on each. I can snmpwalk each host from the zbx server so the v2c daemon on the hypervisors is working and esxi fw rules are correct. I also added the following config on the appliance and restarted the zbx services and still no love. Here's the config on the zbx host;

    ---
    /etc/zabbix/zabbix_server.conf

    StartVMwareCollectors=5
    VMwareFrequency=60
    VMwarePerfFrequency=60
    VMwareCacheSize=8M
    VMwareTimeout=10

    ---
    when I go to monitoring/hosts the snmp badge is grey, not green like working hosts. When I check "problems" the list is empty. Help for the zbx newb would be fabulous.

    Have you added any snmp items to those hosts? Nothing happens if you don't add any items...

    Besides that... VmWare monitoring (all those collectors) does not use SNMP, it connects to vCenter and pulls data from there...

      I have added snmp items and those graphs are not populating. I'll check out the hypervisor discovery nerd knob thanks.
