Trigger URL Length Inquiry

I am currently using Zabbix 2.2.1 and trigger URL length is capped at 255 characters. I know in 2.4 this was upped to 2048 characters for URLs in the Web Monitor; was this 2048 character increase applied to all URL fields in the product? If not are there any solutions for having a trigger URL be greater than 255 characters?
