I'm using Zabbix 5.4.9 to monitor multiple vcenter servers v 6.7.0.51000 using the default "vmware" template. all items, triggers and discovery rules are working fine except the item for "vmware.hv.sensor.health.state[{$VMWARE.URL},{$VMWARE.HV.UUID}]" is giving back error "value not available". could anyone help fix this or suggest an alternate way to pull the health state sensor value from vcenter ?

I'm having this issue to. I'm curious if we're running similar hardware... it's occuring on my HP DL380 machines. I saw some chatter elsewhere regarding something similar: https://communities.vmware.com/t5/ES...s/td-p/1814719I'm using Zabbix 5.4.9 to monitor multiple vcenter servers v 6.7.0.51000 using the default "vmware" template. all items, triggers and discovery rules are working fine except the item for "vmware.hv.sensor.health.state[{$VMWARE.URL},{$VMWARE.HV.UUID}]" is giving back error "value not available". could anyone help fix this or suggest an alternate way to pull the health state sensor value from vcenter ?

Nop, not similar hardware, I'm running on Dell R740 with ESXi / vcenter 6.7. That link you shared is an interesting read but not the same as my problem. i can see the sensor data on vcenter / esxi without a problem, but Zabbix can't pull the data from vcenter. Hopefully someone from Zabbix / vmware lands on this thread and provides an answer.Comment
