Web monitoring - "No Applications Found"

I'm trying to setup a web monitor for the first time.

Starting with https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...web_monitoring

I find that my install does not have Application - Web Checks, rather my menu option says "No Applications Found." with no drop down box.

I've looked around the config files for an enable, and I'm using the RPM builds in the zabbix repository, so I'm not compiling my own, which I believe there is a compile option to enable the feature.

Any ideas?

Application can use grouping for items.
When you see a list of the data in the latest data,
you will be able to refer to the value is divided in units of applications under the host.

When you create a new host, there is no application for that host.
Because the application has not been registered is displayed as "No applications found".

Please try to enter a value in the column of the new application.

I now have an "application" I can choose. Then I can move on to getting the rest of the configuration setup.

Does anyone know if there is a complete tutorial on doing this (I want to check up status of a website). The documentation noted here, and in my last post... are pieces of the puzzle.. but its very hard, and without a lot of time, to link all these pieces into a functional configuration. As well, you read one piece, which assumes you've done another piece (thus my confusion having a 'No applications found').
