Items using $1 in their name do not translate to the full name after upgrade to 5.0

After upgrading to Zabbix 5.0, items which use $1 to set the name from an item definition do no translate anymore. This happened after the upgrade from Zabbix 4.x to 5.0.

Does anybody know a solution for this? Has the character used ($) changed to something else?

That approach is deprecated already in v4. Now in 6.0 support for this has been dropped .. in 5.0 they should still be working...
