Zabbix 6.0 LLD-worker and -queue-Problem

Today I upgraded my largest Zabbix-Installation to 6.0.Now I have a problem with the LLD-queue. It keeps on growing; no matter how much LLD workers I configure, it will start to grow to thousands of entries. If I configure more LLD-workers, the load of the Zabbix-Server will go up without the queue length decreasing. I have racked up the number of vCPUs assigned to the server, but while it helps to keep down the load it will not help with the queue length problem.

My other Zabbix installations do not exhibit this behaviour, OS is CentOS 8.

Any ideas? I have googled this effect, but found nothing.

Update: The problem disappeared literally over night. Either, there is some self tuning going on, or some kind of external condition changed. I will monitor this firther and look for a repeat.
