    Zabbix 2.2.2 - problem with discovery

    Hello.

    I have this strange problem with discovery in Zabbix 2.2.2.

    I have separated discovery rules for the following subnets:
    192.168.21.0/24 - Alcobendas
    192.168.51.0/24 - Luanda
    (please see attached pictures "Discovery Rule 21.jpg" and "Discovery Rule 51.jpg")

    I have actions too move discovered SNMP hosts to their respective groups, and apply a SNMP template.
    (please see attached picture "Actions.jpg")

    But when I check the status of discovery for Alcobendas I can see multiple problems:
    1. there are IP address from subnet 51 (Luanda) that don't belong there;
    2. The monitored host is the same for all discovered IPs;
    (please see attached picture "Alcobendas_bad_discovery.jpg")

    I've check that particular "monitored host", and Zabbix says that it has the IP addresses for all of the other hosts.
    (please see attached picture "Host configuration wrong data.jpg")

    I've tried to delete all hosts and wait for the discovery, but the same data appears again. If I try to remove only the wrong information sooner or later it is populated again.

    I don't have any clue on how or why this is happening.

    Can please someone give me a hint on how to analyse and fix this issue?

    Thanks,
    Luis

    Hello and welcome to Zabbix forums!

    Check settings for your discovery rule.
    Device uniqueness criteria
    Try setting it to IP address and see how the discovery and actions are run in that case.

    Best Regards,
