Hello,
last weekend there were rumors about a possible cyber attack and the network where the Zabbix Proxy is installed was isolated for precaution from the one where the Zabbix Server is.
After communication was restored, however, all the hosts in the network monitored by the Proxy were throwing problems as if they were down.
I checked every communication and it was all working. Latest Data showed up to date values. "Zabbix agent availability" was "Up" for every host.
Yet the triggers were all firing. The first thing I tried was closing the problems manually but they reappeared immediately.
After almost two days of this, all problems suddenly solved by themselves.
I read a 10 year old forum post that suggests that this is caused by the Proxy (or the Server?) processing a long queue of issues before catching up to the actual, working situation.
Do I need to change something in the Server or Proxy configuration to avoid this pile-up in the future?
Thank you.
