    editing triggers

Is there a way to edit the triggers created by discovery?

I have a zabbix install that created triggers for some unused interfaces on Calix E7's. They keep triggering interface down eventhough the interface was in "Admin Down" state. Zabbix appears to only be doing this on my calix boxes.
I tried disabling the trigger and it keeps re-enabling it. I then tried deleting it and discovery turns around and re-adds the trigger. Needless to say my boss is not amused by Zabbix constantly emailing that an unused interface is down.

Clicking on the trigger that was auto created doesnt appear to allow you to edit it. All of the options are greyed out. I know I could clone it and change it from 1 to -0, but that doesnt solve the problem of Zabbix being annoying and crying wolf on administratively down interfaces. Id like to continue using Zabbix, but can only do that if I can get it to shut up about interfaces not in use

Does anyone know a way to edit those triggers or make Zabbix discovery completely ignore them?

Don't know that template, but usually discovery rules use macros to specify, what to discover and what to ignore. IIRC you should be able to override those macros on host level (inherited macros-> change)
