I have the Zabbix 2.4.4 (revision 52334) agent installed on several Windows Server 2012 R2 servers. The problem I am having is that it seems to create many many connections. Is it normal for the Zabbix agent to create so many connections to the server? When I look in the windows Resource Monitor, I see many connections from the agent to the server, however, they have nothing but a hyphen in the columns "Image", "PID", "Packet Loss (%)" and "Latency (MS)". The "Local Address", "Local Port", "Remote Address" and "Remote Port" are all present and belong to the Zabbix Agent and the Zabbix Server.

The Zabbix server does not maintain steady connections to its Zabbix agents.
For each passive Zabbix agent check a dedicated connection to the agent is created. For Zabbix agent active checks the Zabbix agent sends actively gathered values in a bulk every couple of seconds.

I'm seeing the same thing with the 3.4.1 agent.
