Data overview widget deprecated

I'm using this widget to display sets of mixed numerical and text data like for example RAID status.


I see no alternative for my use case, in a different topic Top hosts were suggested but it accepts only numerical items, not text ones.

This widget is deprecated and will be removed in the upcoming major release.

Upcoming major is 7... so you have at least a year to find a solution... Even submit request to develop something..

But I do agree, its kind of weird to just deprecate something but not give you a replacement...

It seems we are almost there, if we could have even a rudimentary wildcard ability as it relates to item names that would be wonderful; But, as long as I'm asking, the ability to use wildcards for item names would also be great, not just for the Top Hosts widget, but also for the other dashboard widgets. Thank you
