I have been using Zabbix for several years to monitor 30+ resources with no issues and am quite dependent on it.
Recently, I have discovered that the Zabbix Dashboard is no longer reporting problems accurately. Five times over the last month, (since upgrading to 2.4.7) I have been notified by a user that one or more servers were unavailable - but the Zabbix Dashboard reports no problems. However, if I switch the view to host configurations, and list the servers then I can see the red Icon showing that the problem server is indeed in a trouble state. However switching back to the Dashboard (and refreshing the view etc.) still shows no problems. Other than upgrading to new versions as released over the last 3 or 4 years, I have made no configuration changes to the dashboard, events, triggers etc.
Of course, when I discover the problem, there is very little time to troubleshoot. A post problem review of the logs does not readily reveal any clues. Since Zabbix has worked so well for so long, I haven't spent any real time troubleshooting problems so I am feeling rather noobie digging into things. Any suggestions where I should look to figure out what it going on?
