    Zabbix SNMP error for a device

    Hi There,

    I am getting a very strange issue using Zabbix 5.4 and for SNMP for a device getting a very strange issue.

    From the Zabbix proxy I can SNMP walk a number of OID's perfectly fine and returns the values I wish to test against. However from the gui for an ITEM with the same OID value I get an authentication failure.

    I know from the SNMP walk the authentication for SNMP V3 is fine and copied the exact details into the Test Items but still fails.

    Has anyone else seen the same kind of issue ?

      sorry to bump this up but I am getting a bit desperate with this at the moment and this makes no sense whey SNMP works from CLI on the proxy (ie. firewall rules etc are fine) but not from the GUI.

          I have been checking all day and simply from the proxy no packets for SNMP are being sent out for just this one device. Any other I have tested have been fine. Itis almost like the Zabbix server is not communicating for this device to the poller.
