    how to monitor ms sql failed jobs

    Hi,
    I would like to get alerts when I have failed sql jobs. how can I achieve that please?

    You can use a Perf Counter for that. This is a native function of Windows and will give you the same results as if you launched Perfmon on the local server.

    This is the item that I use for that metric. You would then have to set up a corresponding action to get an alert.
    Note that my update interval is set to 3600 seconds (1 hour). You may wish to set yours a bit more aggressively.
