Get trigger if event does not occur for period of time

I am monitoring for a Backup event in the event log of windows

{Backup Checks 2008:eventlog[Microsoft-Windows-Backup,,,,,,all].logeventid()}=14

Is there a way to set off a trigger if I don't see an logeventid of 14 for a set period of time like 48 hours?
