Negative Float Numbers are not supported?

    Is this true?

    Here is "zabbix_server.log":
005257:20061101:145950 Type of received value [-59.9] is not sutable for [tfs_ota_perf_user_rqst@Zabbix_Server] having type [0]
    005257:20061101:145950 Returning NOTSUPPORTED

In configuration the type is: "numeric (float)"

I am surprised that negative numbers are not supported.

    Please comment....

    Thank You....

    Hi

    Yes this is true.
Zabbix don't support negative values very long time.
I noticed this when I try to monitor motherboard status with lm_sensors like power voltage. I can't monitor negative -5V and -12V.

      Negative Numbers

I am using Zabbix to monitor walkin freezer temperatures. I need it to be able to graph. Zabbix turns the negative number returened from SNMP into a huge positive number. Is there a fix for this? I am using version 1.1.

          Negative Graph

I am able to graph the numbers via the Graphs section.

I built a graph and set the following to a negative number

          Y axis type = Fixed
          Y axis MIN value -100.0000
          Y axis MAX value -1.0000

This does not change the graph in the latest data section but you will still get the data graphed somewhere.
