More than 100 items having missing data for more than 10 minutes

We always get following alerts from Zabbix 5.0.3 :
More than 100 items having missing data for more than 10 minutes or Agent missing for more than 5 minutes for some server.
Is there anything wrong with our Zabbix configuration?

It means that some of your Zabbix agents (= the monitored servers/hosts) are unreachable: Zabbix server hasn't received data for those items for a while.

Check that your monitored hosts are running correctly and that the Zabbix agents on those are correctly configured and running.

When we check on those servers agent will be running fine always, no clue why we are getting those alerts.

Well, obviously your idea of "running fine" is different from the Zabbix server

How are your agent items configured, active or passive?

Have you checked the agent and server logs?

Could you help me with where to check those?
That alert is for 2 months now, why it is not resolving automatically?
More than 100 items having missing data for more than 10 minutes
Can we check it from command line of Zabbix server?

Item types: see the item configurations for your hosts, are they "Zabbix agent" or "Zabbix agent (active)". https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...fig/items/item
(Active = agent connects to the server, passive = server polls the agents; https://www.zabbix.com/documentation.../activepassive)

Logs: see in /var/log/zabbix (or, wherever the agent is installed on Windows).

Because the issue has not been resolved.

              See the queue: https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...ig/items/queue

So how do we clear those?, I could see more than 1000 in queue.
Do we need to login to each server and check the agent?
                Any common solution?

You are still not answering my questions while trying to help you so I'm not asking anymore

You are the only one here knowing how your systems have been configured, installed and maintained. For example, your boxworks1 hasn't provided any data for the item "Zabbix agent ping" for almost 10 days. There you have it, now figure out how that item is configured and what you should do to fix the agent to send the data.

Sorry Markku did I miss your questions?

So that means I have to go through all queue items and fix them individually. Correct?

No. Just see which hosts have problems and fix them.
