unable to resolve hostname on email media type test

Hi,

I'm trying to create a email media type to be trigger to my email but after entering the configuration. i tried a test email but end up with an error of media type test failed, Couldn't resolve host name.
Anyone know how to solve this issue?

Hey!

Can you try to resolve the hostname of the mailserver (you will use) via the shell of the zabbixserver?
Sounds like you have a DNS problem and it is not possible to resolve the dns name ;-)

You could also try with the IP address of the mailserver.
