Hello everyone,
Disconnecting modern laptop USB-hub from laptop that is running Zabbix agent service causes functionality not to return after network connectivity resumes.
Accidental or purpousful disconnectivity of USB has been experienced to have similar effect. (duration has no bearing on result)
Expected:
- Works after reconnect.
Experienced:
- at disconnect "Zabbix agent is not available" triggered on server and stays until service is restarted manually.
Problem results from new laptops having too few ports, that is solved by selling USB-hubs that have monitor and ethernet jacks.
Has anyone had any thoughts on this before and how this could be remedied in Windows 10 Enterprise laptop.
? maybe triggering script after network device restarted
? maybe just restart zabbix agent every X minutes on the background
