    why raspberry pi zabbix agent was running but Zabbix Server not detected

    i am newbie here,

    Im gonna install zabbix-agent on raspberry pi but zabbix server STATUS ZBX is not yet enable.

    OS Version:

    The rules for how Zabbix calculates "availability" are a little complex, but I think the basic thing to understand is that availability can depend upon what type of items are defined for the host. See the documentation for "availability" at the end of this page: https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...guration/hosts

    So, it doesn't matter that the agent is running on the client, if you're not having items collected that depend upon the agent.

    Also, version 4.0.4 of the agent is still (I think) in the "supported" umbrella, since the 4.0.x series was a long-term support (LTS) release, but if you're going to run the 4.0 LTS series, there should be much newer versions of the agent available. Something like 4.0.26 or later.

    The 4.0.x LTS series is also the oldest LTS release still under the "supported" umbrella, so it will be the next one that loses support. Keep in mind that you're probably going to want to upgrade to the 5.0 LTS (or 6.0 LTS, if you're more adventurous) in the next few months.
