How to delete discovered Host

Hi all!

currently I am troubleshooting a weird issue. Host discovery did pick up a host which is not existing anymore.
Because the host is coming back again and again I am wondering if I maybe removed it wrong.


Configuration -> hosts -> host -> delete
should be fine, right?

I disabled discovery and the host is not coming back. So it should be narrowed down into the discovery itself?
The discovery is performed via a Proxy. The proxy is installed on pfSense.

I increased log severity but did not know what to look for. I did not found any interesting details so far. On pfSense I can’t ping the hosts ipaddress.

looking forward for tips! I am quite sure this is something obviously!

Hi all!
This issue seems to be solved.
It is part of the architecture the hosts do come back.

Solution: add condition „discovery status“ (quals up) to corresponding discovery action.
