    Zabbix Aggregate calculations

    Hi All,

I am running Zabbix 6.0.8 to monitor our wireless network (H3C Wireless Controller) and I'd like to calculate the clients that who are connecting with 2.4G and 5G.

I can get the values on AP and trying to sum the result on zabbix. Here is what I have done.
    1. Create discovery rules to collect the values that I want.
    2. Key:hos.radio1[{#APNAME}] Tag: Radio 5G
    3. Click image for larger version Name:	image.png Views:	16 Size:	11.8 KB ID:	451661
    4. Key:hos.radio2[{#APNAME}] Tag: Radio 2.4G
    5. Click image for larger version Name:	image.png Views:	7 Size:	12.3 KB ID:	451662
    6. Create a new item under WLC template to show the result. Formula: sum(last_foreach(//hos.radio1
    7. ))
    8. Click image for larger version Name:	image.png Views:	8 Size:	10.0 KB ID:	451663
    9. But the value is incorrect, the sum of 2.5G + 5G is greater that the clients that I get from WLC directly. 34 + 71 > 51
    10. Click image for larger version Name:	image.png Views:	8 Size:	9.7 KB ID:	451664
    11. Reading the document and google search, I still don't know how to do, really appreciate if I can get any assistance from you.

Just in case asking, how often do you pull data?

Maybe your calculation schedule and data polling schedule do not match? I mean, they can be all set at 30 sec, but internally they are not performed at same moment. So at calculation time those last values may not be from same moment.
For monitoring things, polling so often rarely gives any results. Try to set it to 1-2 minutes and see, if you get better results.
