    Mysql monitoring by active agent

    Hello,

I'm trying to monitoring a Mysql database from a Linux Server with zabbix active agent. All the preload features are sending correctly (CPU, memory, ...), but I can't monitor any Mysql item. I've created the mysql user into de agent, with the template... and I don't know how to continue. Does somebody have the same problem and found a solution?

    Thank you!

You are leaving out all the details about what that item should do and what kind of errors you are getting... Also agent and server versions etc...

Sorry cyber! The item I'm trying to monitoring is
      HTML Code:
      Mysql: Status
I forgot to comment that the server is in Cloud, and every client will connect to it with Public IP (or DNS). The agent, in this case, it's on 5.0.21 version. The server is 6.0.5 version.

The logs from the server shows:
      HTML Code:
Zabbix agent item "mysql.ping["{$MYSQL.HOST}","{$MYSQL.PORT}"]" on host "CentosTest" failed: first network error, wait for 15 seconds
