    Discovery item as Zabbix trapper thru Proxy - not work...

    Hi ,

    I have set my zabbix Server and Proxy on linux , both versions 6.2.0

    For few hosts monitored thru this Proxy , I need to use Zabbix trapper for most of the items.
    Now I'm trying to configure a Discovery rule item, based on Zabbix Trapper item.

    However , appear that configuration do not work.
    The zabbix_sender, always failed.
    I'm not sure if this is a issue with Proxy or if the Zabbix really doesn't support Discovery rule items as "Zabbix trapper" and the this should be corrected at the frontend.

    I already restarted the server, the proxy, forced the cache reload.
    Enabling more verbose logging on the Proxy , I get this message when I send the data with zabbix_sender:
    Code:
    1315:20221021:081953.991 cannot retrieve key "alertfile_discovery" on host "xxxxx" from configuration cache
    Anyone have any experience over this situation ? Is this a bug ? or I'm doing something wrong ?

      Can you show the contents of that data you sent as trapper item? Is it valid LLD JSON?

        Hi ,

        Sorry the delay.
        I'm using this sender command + this test file :

        $ zabbix_sender -vv -T -i x.txt -c /etc/zabbix/zabbix_agentd.conf
        $ cat x.txt
        hostabc alertfile_discovery 1666720846 {"{#ALERTFILE}":"/oracle/diag/rdbms/xxx/xxxx/trace/alert_xxxx.log"}
