Hello,
I have a zabbix server running on a Ubuntu 14.04 local server at 192.168.3.3.
It was version 2.4 and ran fine for months.
I also have a AJAX LAMP server also Ubuntu 14.04 running at 192.168.3.2.
The other week I noticed this lines in the mail logs happening every minute:

Mar 28 18:18:02 M1-2 dovecot: pop3-login: Aborted login (no auth attempts in 0 secs): user=<>, rip=192.168.3.3, lip=192.168.3.2, session=<CIDHHyQvsgDAqAMD>
Mar 28 18:18:02 M1-2 postfix/smtpd[6342]: connect from unknown[192.168.3.3]
Mar 28 18:18:02 M1-2 postfix/smtpd[6342]: disconnect from unknown[192.168.3.3]

I could find no culprit except for the zabbix-server on .3. When I stop that service, the attempts stop. So I upgraded to 3.0.1 zabbix and it still continues. I have email, jabber and sms disabled in the Admin->Media Types and no emails configured anywhere that I can find.
I searched the zabbix folder looking for the .2 ip and found nothing.
Don't know where to look at this point. That's why this post.
Any help ? Must be something my simple little brain missed.
