    Upgrade Zabbix 2.4.7 -> 3.0.1 on CentOS 6

    Hi all,

    Sorry, I'm trying to upgrade 2.4.7 to latest version on CentOS6 OS using the repo for 3.0.

    But, it seems like this is missing key RPMs, like the latest zabbix server. Is this a temporary issue or is an upgrade from 2.x not supported on a v7 RHEL style system? I notice the download page only seems to have v7 as a link. Is v6 an unsupported OS now?

    http://www.zabbix.com/download.php

    Cheers

      Dang. That's quite a pain. I'd guess there are lots of CentOS6 OS's out there who are now beached on 2.2/2.4. Moving zabbix to a new host doesn't sound much fun. Oh well, thanks for confirming.

        There is also a way to create an RPM by yourself.
        However, CentOS 6 with standard of the package is not available to all of the features of Zabbix 3.0.
        Please check the system requirements.

        In particular, it requires that the version of PHP is 5.4 or newer.
        To do this, you will use the SCL or not standard repository.

        Another is, because the version of the standard libcurl is old, you can not use SMTP authentication.

        Package that I was created will serve as a sample with SCL(php54) on CentOS 6.7.
