Did you try changing the Type of information from "Numeric (Integer 64bit)" to "Numeric (float)"? If not, give that a go and let us know if it fixed your problem.

changing the item to numeric float does seem to fix the problem (great!). but can that be? the item i created i took from the items which are coming with the unix_t template.

thanks, but i have freshly installed a new machine from scratch with zabbix 1.14 server and agent, and it is exactly the same as before. in the overview, it shows numbers, and in the latest data, it shows the right values in mb or gb optionally. did you fix it also for 1.14 or only for the betas? is it an easy fix to do myself? can you tell me where to change the code in which file to temporarely fix it? i really think zabbix is smoking hot, and being able to view all my servers diskspace on one screen would be a big help for me.
