    Zabbix Agent2 6.0 + postgres plugin - beware

    If you plan to upgrade zabbix agent2 to v6 (and up) and you are monitoring Postgres DB with this agent2 then beware... Agent2 from v6 do not supportPostgresDB - Go plugin sources is even removed.

    Question to devs (if any reading this). Agent2 v5 and v6 are really differs so much? Is that why postgres plugin is removed from agent2 v6?

    Edit:
    Plugin it now as loadable module but where find precompiled version? Only option is to build it from sources?

    https://repo.zabbix.com/ (if you have downloaded the packages manually for some reason)

      Thank you.
      I think binaries for plugins should be available from main download page: https://www.zabbix.com/download_agents or there should be link to the repo or other way page shoud mention that plugins for v6 (and up) are avaiable separatelly. I'm just migrated from v5 and somehow, stuck in this one problem. Thank you again.

        You didn't say how you installed the agent in the first place, but you are free to open an enhancement request in support.zabbix.com if you feel something can be made better.

        Anyway, I'm using the official repo with Debian and the plugins are available to install out of the box (no need to hunt for any download links):

        $ dpkg -l zabbix* | grep zabbix
        ii zabbix-agent 1:6.0.9-1+debian10 amd64 Zabbix network monitoring solution - agent
        ii zabbix-release 1:6.0-4+debian10 all Zabbix official repository configuration

        $ apt-cache search zabbix | grep ^zabbix-agent2-plugin
        zabbix-agent2-plugin-mongodb - Zabbix Agent2 plugin for monitoring MongoDB installations
        zabbix-agent2-plugin-postgresql - Zabbix Agent2 plugin for monitoring PostgreSQL installations

          I'm on CentOS 8 (version before CentOS switched to Stream). I'm just downloading packages with script, getting only files with i.e. 6.0.10, so plugins got skipped. Moving them to server and use:
          Code:
          dnf localinstall <package>
          Now I need only to do the same with this plugin rpm file
