    monitoring IIS

    Hi,

I would like to monitor IIS, but when I try to use IIS by Zabbix active template, zabbix says:
Item "zabbix[host,active_agent,available]" already exists on "xy host", inherited from another template.
    What does it mean?
I use only one more template: Windows by zabbix agent active. Does it matter? How can I monitor IIS?
What do I have to set up in zabbix client (I installed agent 2 on the client Zabbix version is 6.2.5)?

The same item key cannot be defined for a host more than once, and now you have two templates that are trying to define the same item for the host.

I would delete that item from the IIS template because it is not actually related to IIS at all (it is related to agent availability in general). But the correct solution eventually depends on your specific situation and how you are using those templates in your environment.

Thanks. I removed the item, and added the template.
Now I have another problem. It needs an interface:
Cannot find host interface on "xy host" for item key "net.tcp.service[{$IIS.SERVICE},,{$IIS.PORT}]".
I added an agent interface (xy host:10050), but after that, the availabilty icon of the host is greyed out. What kind of interface I need?
Working...
