    PLEASE HELP! Localhost vs. IP

Total newb here. Just installed and all is well in the web browser. I use 127.0.0.1/zabbix, pops up and all looks great. My question is I see all sorts of videos online of zabbix and they have IP's and not localhost. I would like to monitor all my PC's on my local network 192.168.1.1. Can someone guide me on how to monitor my network with zabbix? Big thank you in advance

It's difficult to understand what do you mean. Can you give some links to those videos.
Localhost is just zabbix server machine in common case. You can use 192.168.10.15 if you use zabbix on computer with this IP, or just localhost, or 127.0.0.1. It will be the same.
But you can use zabbix server on one machine, Zabbix agent on another, Zabbix frontend on third and database on fourth. So, then you need to set different IP for every machine.
It is better for beginner download VirtualBox image and work with it. It is easeir to make backups before reconfiguration. It is easier to monitor you system and do not think about internal processes.
Leave Localhost as default and enjoy. You can monitor all your local network. And all other networks that allow Gateway. It you can ping computer in other network. So, you probable can monitor in by Zabbix.
