    Agent Connection Issue behind NAT

    Hello,

    I am experiencing issues when i am trying to setup the Zabbix Agent behind NAT routers, basically when i start the service at client side everything seems to happen right, i can even see the graphics in the server interface, but in 10 minutes or less the connection stops and never work anymore.

    *The issue happens when i am trying to reach zabbix server without using the Zabbix proxy.

    *It happens in many clients, not just one.

    *When i use Zabbix Proxy, everything goes fine.

    *It happens behind Zentyal, PFSense or any other gateway solution.

    *Tried passive and active setups.

    I am using Zabbix 3.

    Here is the client log:

    Above shows that you are using passive agent (started listener processes).
    From behind NAT only may work active agent as agent process from behind NAT-gw connects to server/proxy. To switch to active setup you need to add in agent setup:

    StartAgents=0
    ServerActive=<your.proxy.or.server.ip.or.hostname>
