    Database history tables upgraded NO with Zabbix appliance

    Hello everybody,
    I'm new to Zabbix and I installed the appliance version (6.2.6) to monitor a small amount of servers in my small office.
    I noticed the line "Database history tables upgraded NO" in system information. I checked in this forum and it seems to be related with upgrade from 5.0 or from 6.0 but I can't find anything related to a new installation directly with 6.2.6.
    What should I do?

    I already tried the procedure described here: https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...b_primary_keys

    Thank you all.

      Ok, you tried it.... What were the results? Were the tables successfully altered to have primary keys? Did you restart the web interface (or just reboot the appliance) afterward? I'm not running 6.0.x or 6.2.x yet so I'm not certain how often the front end checks whether the primary keys have been added.

      For sites that have been using Zabbix for a long time and have huge history database tables, adding primary keys is a lengthy process. That's why it's not done automatically on upgrade. It's something that some sites need to plan for separately.

      However, it's really unfortunate that the updated history tables aren't just baked into the latest appliances. For an appliance with basically empty history tables, the update process should be super quick.

        The results were all ok: I completed the procedure without errors, it tooks some minutes to complete cause the server was relatively new (almost a week, and directly installed with 6.2.6, not upgraded from a previous version). I restarted the whole server after the procedure.

          Wasn't there another change... something about double precision ?
          https://bestmonitoringtools.com/upgr...upgrade_errors " How to fix error “database is not upgraded to use double precision values"
          You can find solution here...

            I followed that link and found that I don't have this line in my zabbix.conf.php:

            $DB['DOUBLE_IEEE754'] = 'true';

            After the reboot I don't have the line "Database history tables upgraded " anymore in System Information Widget. So I suppose it was fixed. How can I be sure about that?
