MacOS Agent Installation and Firewall Approval

    Hello!

I am installing Zabbix 6.2.2 agents to some MacOS endpoints. These machines are managed via JAMF. I have the script for installation working, along with the configuration changes, to get it pointed to the server and auto registered with the proper templates and groups. My problem at this point is that the MacOS firewall has to approve Zabbix to allow incoming firewall connections. This happens when the service starts. It appears the Zabbix Agent doesn't have a bundleID to whitelist within JAMF, and Apple has removed the ability to do firewall changes at the port level with scripts.

Is there anyway to add a bundleID or has anyone come up with any other solutions to get around this problem?

    Thank you.

I just came here to find this information as well. I guess for now the only solution is to disable the macOS Firewall for the servers we have running the Zabbix agent.
