Does anyone has experience of unexpected data collection and action during maintenance mode?
Our customer defined a maintenance without data collection. No tags are used in the configuration of the maintenance.
But during the maintenance, some registered hosts suddenly started data collection and even several actions were triggered. These unexpected things stopped about 10 or 20 minutes later.
Besides, one registered host's data collection stopped only one day after the maintenance started.
At first I suspected that some hosts were deleted and added again to the maintenance by mistake, or tags were changed by mistake.
However, our customer insists that the maintenance's configuration was not changed after creation, exception once before it started the maintenance's name was changed .
The only case I was told about unexpected data collection for maintenance without data collection is the following:
1. The connection between zabbix proxy and zabbix server breaks during maintenance and is recovered only after the maintenance is over.
2. Some data collected during maintenance is sent to the Zabbix server only after the maintenance is over, so is not discarded.
But this is clearly not my case, since our customer's problem happened during maintenace.
Does anyone know what could have happened?
