    Zabbix Agent 2 causing high CPU usage

    I have a Win 2012 R2 running Zabbix Agent 2 version 6.2.5.

    The server has low resources and everyday it reaches 100% CPU utilization due to Zabbix Agent using most of the CPU.
    By restarting the Agent, everything gets back to normal, but, a day later, the CPU goes back to 100% and the cycle repeats.

    The Agent's log keeps showing the following message:
    Code:
    2023/03/07 07:47:58.392284 Zabbix Agent2 hostname: [SVISDR01CRBB003]
    2023/03/08 05:15:04.054206 [101] cannot connect to [172.30.83.71:10051]: dial tcp :0->172.30.83.71:10051: i/o timeout
    2023/03/08 05:15:04.055186 [101] sending of heartbeat message for [SVISDR01CRBB003] started to fail
    2023/03/08 05:17:09.149849 [101] sending of heartbeat message to [172.30.83.71:10051] is working again
    The Win host is using the standard Windows template and there are no unsupported items.

    The odd thing is that another identical server has no issues with the Agent, so I'm not sure what's going on.

    Any ideas?

    hey Wolny agent in passive or active mode, are you connecting using TLS? you provided very little data to advise you by the way, which means that the machine has little resources after all, the zabbix client is a very light palliation. The only thing I can assume is that you have an agent in active mode and you are doing something on hosice, some powe shell, etc. It will tell you what system is on the host, whether zabbix is in the container or a free installation, if free it is apache or nginx. Provide as much information as possible.

      The host's agent is using the OOTB Windows by Zabbix Agent template in passive mode and has no encryption enabled.
      There are no custom parameters or scripts running as well.

      I think it might have something to do with Windows WMI, but I really can't tell.
      WMI were rebuilt according to Microsoft method and, while the agent is running, I'm capable of retrieving all perf items.

      Still, the Agent's CPU usage gets very high.
