Latest Data Filter not working correctly - possible bug?

Hello forum,I have a little problem with filtering latest data and meanwhile I think this might be a bug...

Example:
I have an item with a host that collects the string "Good" every minute. Once in a while I get the string "null" and an alarm triggers. Now I wanted to remove all strings "good" from the the list of strings shown to see, at what times I get the "null" string.
Therefor I switch from the latest data tab to the filter tab, insert "Good" as my filter value and select "hide selected".
But for some reason it still shows all the "Good" strings.

I tried several other options like marking the value as red or the others as red, which works like expected. It is just "hide selected" that is not working.

muelli, you cropped the screenshot window and I could not find this filter of yours.
Have you got a plugin of some sort?

Nope, no plugins at all.
The "hide selected" is not button but a menu point in the drop down menu.

I wonder if its something new in 6.0.14... at least in .13 I do not see that.. There is no "Filter" option in my GUI..

I had this "Filter" tab already in 6.0.13.... I upgraded to .14 because I hoped the problem was resolved in this version.
Strange, why do you not have this?

That's odd.

I have a Zabbix 6.0.14 setup and the only filter I can see from Latest Data is the time filter.
I could not find any option to filter the data itself (by value) as shown in your images.

There's no such feature out-of-the-box from Zabbix.

muelli, maybe you have a custom PHP module installed.

Check your module configuration.

There is no module installed... The list is empty.
Maybe it came with one of the installed packages? But I cannot see how, as they came from the original repo....

I found how to enter this mode! :-)
It appears for item with "Type of information" = log


And in version 6.2.8 the filter works correctly! You can select or hide strings with the specified substring

yay! found it now.. Did not expect it to be there for just one type of data.. I guess I never needed it.. :P
And I can confirm, that in 6.0.13 this filter does not work properly. Selecting "Show selected" or "Hide selected" gives same result... selected pattern is shown.
