    disk space growth

    Hi,

The disk space on our server is currently growing really fast.. since last week its been growing by GB's daily.
    I have attached a screenshot.

We haven't changed anything during that time and I can't seem to pinpoint why this is happening.

    Hi,

Can you share a screenshot of the command : df -h (on zabbix server)

To see how your disk is built.

    Thanks

Is the zabbix database located on the same disk? is this a growing base?

Perhaps some process writes a lot of information to logs - check the directory with logs (usually /var/log).
use the du utility to determine the space occupied by directories (or better, install the ncdu utility - it is much more convenient and clearer)

The database is on the same disk, although it didn't grow so fast at all in the last months since we installed a new server with a fresh installation of zabbix.
this is currently in our /var/log directory:

Quite a lot of logs, but not really big.

I have checked the database location for Zabbix and notice the audit log is 100GB:

although we have the audit set to 7 days and i have ran housekeeping a couple of times manually to try to clear it out

Google about option "innodb_file_per_table" in the mysql config

Do you have version between 6.0 and 6.06 ?
there was a bug where the auditlog grew and never got trimmed.
              I ran 6.04 for a year and had a 231GB auditlog.

we run Zabbix 6.4.3, but we have ran 6.0 and 6.06
we dumped the audit log and recreated it
