Issue with duplicated triggers when linking a cloned template

Hi, I recently fully cloned a template (Windows by Zabbix Agent), and in the cloned template, I made changes to the Trigger names only without changing any keys. After Linking the new (Cloned) template to a Host, I can still see the Trigger Items from the old template. I used the Unlink option Instead of Unlink and Clear option when changing the Templates. But when I do Unlink and Clear, the Trigger Items are not duplicated, and it works fine. But this will cause my item history to be erased. I just wanted to reconfirm whether this is an issue in the system or if there is another way to attach a new template with a different trigger name without losing the item history.
