    VMware Hypervisor template

I am currently using the VMware Hypervisor template to monitor my virtualization hosts and since then I have noticed a strange behavior with an alert: VMware: The XXXXXXXXXX health is Red, an alert that resolves itself after a few minutes, as shown in the image below:

Looking at the template, I see that it makes this mention:

Here the big question, what is actually being considered for the trigger to be triggered because the explanation is very simple: "One or more components in the appliance might be in an unsable staus...". This is an environment that was recently built, new servers, new switches, configuration done following best practices, etc.

I don't see any hardware related errors, just errors of virtual machines not restarting properly, or by resource usages, etc; but nothing out of the ordinary.

I wanted to better understand what VMware: Overall Status and what it considers to set a status for the host, because I believe this is where the problem lies. What does this item consider to determine the Overall Status of the Host.

Did you check the logs in vmware at the time of trigger generated?

Topic starter asks for explanation about what is considered in a trigger and you want them to read vmware logs?

But that trigger is based on a last value of an item.
        Code:
        last(/VMware Hypervisor/vmware.hv.status[{$VMWARE.URL},{$VMWARE.HV.UUID}])=3
as in docs. This means it can change with each check, depending what is returned from hypervisor... It does not contain any specific data, but just a single value pulled from HV. I don't have any vmware access but I suppose there is similar "widget"/ "item" /"graph" or something visible which states the same "status is yellow" or "status is red"...
