Zabbix proxy won't start

Hi all,

So I'm new to setting up any kind of zabbix server, and I'm trying to configure a proxy server, but it will not start properly.

I'm running OpenSUSE 13.1

Here is the most recent attempt from the zabbix-proxy.log file:

Starting Zabbix Proxy (passive) [<server_name>]. Zabbix 2.2.14 (revision 61184).

The proxy does not match Zabbix database. Current database version (mandatory/optional): 02040000/02040000. Required mandatory version: 02020000.

It seems like there is a version mismatch, but the current one is the higher one, so does something else need to be updated?
