Identify metric type and change it (e.g. bytes to megabytes)

Hi,

Using zabbix 3.0.4 and grafana 3.1.0.

Currently I am "exporting" zabbix metrics into grafana. The issue here is that I need the ability to change what kind of metrics are provided by Zabbix. For example, for network input/output, is it bytes, packets, megabtes, etc? I need the ability to identify what kind of metric is being generated as well as how I can change this.
