Bug or a weird feature?

So, I have been testing this for some time now and I just don't seem to understand why this is happening. I start monitoring hosts, they all give me data like they are supposed to, but if I disable unnecessary items from monitoring every host that had those items removed stop giving me any monitoring data.

On some hosts that I removed those items, they keep on working but some just refuse to work after the removal. They start working after I enable those items back, for example earlier today I removed ipv6 items from monitoring, since they are not needed. After the removal I havent been able to get any data from servers, even tho I know they are working, no errors or anything.

I suspect that after removal, everything "resets" since it takes few hours to get monitoring collecting data correctly after you create hosts.

So, is this bug or somekind of weird feature?

As I suspected, removing items from monitoring inside a group resets whole monitoring to new state and because of that it takes about 1½hours before data is being collected correctly again
