getting results twice for every item invocation

Hi,

when I create active item (for example: system.uname every 30 seconds) , I am getting 2 results for each invocation.
For example:

2016-08-18 16:35:07
2016-08-18 16:35:05
2016-08-18 16:34:37
2016-08-18 16:34:35


It doesn't happen with passive items.
The server is Linux, and the agent is Solaris, using Zabbix 3.0.

Is this a known bug ?

Look for 2 systems with the same hostname.

I did it once and have answered similar questions here at least once :-)

So it is another possibility that you have two proxies monitoring single host and those metrics are from "zabbix agent" type (passive) items.

I don't have proxies at all. Here is my configuration:
I have Zabbix server on Linux.
I have Zabbix agent on Solaris zone.
I am using port 10053 both on the agent (ListenPort) and on the host creation page in the server, so I will not get collisions/duplications and other problems with other Zabbix servers that might be run here by IT

Ok, stop the agent reporting the duplicates. If all the entries stop, they are from that agent, if not, they are from another agent.
