Database Type for Zabbix -Need Suggestion

I've been working with Zabbix for a while now and have encountered a unique challenge related to the database type. I'm currently in the process of optimizing our Zabbix setup, and I'm unsure about the best database type to use. Has anyone else faced a similar issue with query performance in Zabbix?

Didn't you forget something? Like, what DB type gives you trouble...

Thanks for your reply I'm currently using MySQL for our Zabbix setup, and I've been experiencing some challenges with query performance.

        Like pulling teeth...
What kind of setup you have? Versions etc... You do understand, that noone can answer a very general "I have a performance issue" topic...

I personally have found that Postgres with TimescaleDB works well. Although it's much tricker to setup. For me personally, putting the DB on its own server helped a great deal with performance issues. I used to dread updates because I knew its web interface would be fading in and out as it updated the DB. This doesn't happen anymore.
