Windows by SNMP High memory util email alert

    Hi, im new to zabbix...

i'm trying to create a trigger for Windows servers added via SNMP for HIGH MEMORY UTILIZATION.
I tried adding from Windows by SNMP template but i cannot find the High Memory Utilization.
However i can find it on WIndows by Zabbix Agent.

When i tried to browse thru host which was added by SNMP. I can see the high memory utilization.
Please assist me on this. I need it to get email alerts.

By default, the template "Windows SNMP" contains a discovery rule for memory (item and trigger with "high utilization")

If u template doesnt have this discovery rule, try to download latest template https://www.zabbix.com/br/integratio...s#windows_snmp

    For e-mail alerts, go to:

Configurations > Actions > Create Action > "Insert a name for action"

Condition > Add > New condition > Type "Trigger Name" and insert the trigger name: High memory utilization*

    Another solution is:

Create a tag for memory discovery rule trigger like "memoryalert:high" and in condition alert select Type Tag Value or Tag name.

I hope this solutions solve your problem.

      Hi thanks for the reply.
When selecting a Windows By SNMP template on Email Alert for condition, i am unable to find High Memory Utilization. Is it because of being a discovery trigger rule? However, i have opt the situation by Trigger Name instead. Will test this and post the results.

Also i did thought of tagging the memory discovery rule trigger but i have currently 67 windows hosts in a production environment. Going through one by one to add tag might be time consuming as discovery trigger does not display in the template. Is there or way to mass tag a high memory utilization discovery trigger?
Working...
