Zabbix high utilization start pollers

Hi all. My zabbix was running smoothly and after few weeks i started getting error messages like high poller utilization above 75% and high poller unreachable utilization.
I am aware to configure in the zabbix_server.conf
But i do not know what values to input in the pollers.
I have 50 Hosts running. Can anyone suggest me?

StartPollers = ???
Unreachablestartpollers = ??

or any other config values in the conf file

I suppose you run it with default values? StartPollers defaults to 5 and StartPollersUnreachable defaults to 1.

I would up it them to 10 and 5 respectively... And then observe, on which level it stays... Below 40 is OK...

Thank you for the response.. It was on default initially before the issue persisted. I have set the values you suggested respectively. I guess there is no specific values, we have to adjust them through trial and error correct? Thanks, i will check and monitor and if issue persist, i will change the values.

Yes.. you need to start up "enough" .. having too many is also bad for performance as everything will occupy some resources, which in the end will not be used.
