Why there are some blank parts

Can anybody help explain why Zabbix CPU utilization graphs sometimes show a picture with some blank parts on the top? My understanding is all 8 CPU times must add up at 100%, there should not be any blank which mean less than 100% in any graph. Sometimes the blank parts are quite large.

I am concerned with the accuracy of the graph.

    Thanks.

    - network issue between agent and proxy/server
    - agent was down
    - server/proxy was down
    - on using passive monitorong it was no enough idle poller processes able to sample data
    - maaany other possible causes

      Kloczek, Thanks.
I don't see any error on both the server and the client about Zabbix itself including poll issues, and it is not likely network issues.
I forgot to mention I had attached a picture. This pattern are happening almost every 15 minutes on a server.

All values does not get at the same time.

Since the acquisition timing of the items are shifted,
even by adding all the values may not add up to 100.

Please try shortening the update interval of each item.

What items are you adding up and expecting 100%?

            Thanks Atsushi.

To answer bbrendon, the 8 items, as you can see the second attachment.

At first glance from what you have there I would agree that 100% would be what to expect or at least 99 to 101, but I'm going to have to go with Atsushi on this one.
